| Bio: | Having the side bags all to myself so that no one can bitch when I choose to bring 4 pairs of shoes on motorcycle trips is not, by far, the best reason to ride my own bike... but it's nonetheless a compelling one.
Speaking of compelling, a rather compelling argument for filling out these bios was recently given to me. But as I try to comply, I realize: writing down who I am at any one moment is so limiting. I am everything; I am nothing; I am the walrus, koo koo kachoo. I am free-falling -- or perhaps flying, it's so hard to tell the difference -- through a field of endless possibilities, and I am reaching out to as many of them as possible. And each of those possibilities fundamentally changes me. I am someone who has experienced pain and come out the other side, not just having survived it, but having prospered from it. I've done so just recently. I am bi and poly and randomly gender-queer; I am girl and geek and bookworm and motorcyclist.
I am someone who can never manage to write these things without sounding terribly self-indulgent. :-)
